About Us

Meridian Implement offers John Deere Farm Equipment, Lawn & Garden Equipment and Snowmobiles. The dealership opened for business in April 1966. Dennis and Shirley Gearhart came to the dealership as owner/manager in July 1971.

Previously, Dennis Gearhart was a John Deere territory manager from 1966 to 1971, calling on dealers in Illinois, Iowa and Michigan. Located at 1011 South Meridian Road in Rockford, IL, Meridian Implement provides customers with new and used John Deere Farm Equipment, Tractors, Combines, and Hay Equipment.

We also offer a full line parts and service department for farm equipment, lawn and garden equipment, snowmobiles, John Deere ATVS, and antique John Deere equipment. Our parts department also offers a large selection of toys and collectibles. We pride ourselves on being a reliable source for two-cylinder parts and providing complete service of two-cylinder tractors.

We also have a Lawn & Garden Shop, which services lawn and garden tractors, skid loaders, compact tractors, John Deere ATVS, snowmobiles, and handheld.
